I've heard Sea Salt is supposed to be much better because of trace minerals and other elements from the ocean. I don't know for sure.......my dd insists on using Kosher salt since that's what Alton Brown (on Food Network) uses!!
I don't know how much it matters either, Suzanne. The picture of the little girl on the left sure brought back some childhood memories for me. Australian salt shakers are quite colourful but they have no picture like that!
